Note on battery disposal

In connection with the sale of batteries or the supply of devices containing batteries, we, as a retailer, are obligated under the German Battery Act (BattG) to inform you about disposal options:

Your legal obligation

As an end user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries. Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You can return used batteries that we currently or previously offered as new batteries in our product range free of charge to our shipping warehouse or drop them off there:

Battery Identification

The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:

• • Crossed-out trash can: The battery must not be disposed of with household waste.
• • Pb: The battery contains more than 0.004% lead by mass.
• • Cd: The battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by mass.
• • Hg: The battery contains more than 0.0005% Mercury.

Alternatively, you can also return used batteries free of charge to municipal collection points or local retailers.
