One ProFuel IRON + Natural Vitamin C tablet (180 tablets) contains 40 mg of elemental iron in the form of iron bisglycinate and 40 mg of natural vitamin C from rosehip extract.
At the recommended daily dose of one tablet per day, one bottle of 180 tablets will last for 6 months.

To ensure optimal absorption of ProFuel IRON + Natural Vitamin C tablets, it is recommended to take them approximately one hour before a meal or at least two hours after your last meal. Alternatively, they can be taken on an empty stomach, but individual tolerance should be considered, as this may cause nausea in some people. Taking the tablets with vitamin C-rich drinks such as orange juice can further improve iron absorption.

The following foods and drinks should be avoided when taking iron supplements, as they can inhibit iron absorption: coffee, all types of tea (especially black and green tea), red wine, cocoa, milk and dairy products, cola drinks, and foods rich in oxalic acid (such as rhubarb, spinach, and beets) or phytic acid (such as grains, legumes, soy, nuts, and seeds). Medications containing calcium, copper, or zinc should also be taken separately from iron supplements.

ProFuel IRON + natural vitamin C is suitable for a vegan diet as it contains no animal-derived ingredients and is 100% vegan. The tablets are manufactured in Germany.

ProFuel IRON + natural vitamin C tablets use iron bisglycinate. This organic iron chelate compound is considered the form with the highest bioavailability, as it is absorbed particularly efficiently by the body. Furthermore, it is significantly gentler on the stomach compared to conventional iron salts and is therefore very well tolerated.
