According to current scientific understanding, taking GN Laboratories Ecdysterone does not directly affect the body's own hormonal balance (especially testosterone and estrogen production, as well as the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis). Unlike classic anabolic steroids, ecdysterone does not bind to the androgen receptor and therefore does not suppress natural hormone production or cause hormonal side effects such as aromatization. Its effect is primarily based on interaction with the estrogen receptor beta (ERβ), which can stimulate protein metabolism in muscles without affecting the endocrine system.
Regarding anti-doping regulations, ecdysterone is currently not on the official Prohibited List of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). This means that its acquisition and use are not currently prohibited for competitive athletes. However, since 2020, ecdysterone has been on WADA's Monitoring Program. Within this framework, the authority is closely monitoring the substance and its usage patterns in sports to determine whether future inclusion on the list of prohibited substances is necessary. As of today, however, the product is permitted both in and out of competition.

The product GN Ecdysterone is suitable for a vegan diet, as both the extract and the capsule shell are made from purely plant-based raw materials. The extract is derived from the plant Cyanotis arachnoidea, which naturally has a high ecdysteroid content.

The recommended daily intake of GN Laboratories Ecdysterone is 1 capsule, which should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid. When taken as directed, one container of 60 capsules will last for 60 days (approximately two months).
