The ulnar nerve runs along the side of the hand and can be compressed when gripping the handlebars, which can lead to numb fingers. The padding also gently corrects the angle of the hand to prevent compression of blood vessels.
The CHIBA Lady Gel Gloves are suitable for the washing machine and can be washed at up to 30°C.

The Chiba Lady Gel Glove is made from the following materials: 44% polyamide, 26% polyester, 18% polyurethane, and 12% elastane. The back of the hand is made of elastic and breathable materials for optimal fit and ventilation, while the palm is made of durable microfiber and features gel padding.
