The Varnis tunic, with its distressed look, differs from a conventional cotton tunic primarily in its special surface treatment, which gives it a worn, rustic appearance. While conventional cotton tunics usually have a smooth, uniform texture, the fabric of the Varnis tunic is often intentionally irregular or artificially aged. Regarding care, cotton is generally robust and heat-resistant, but distressed-look textiles should preferably be washed at lower temperatures (30-40°C) to preserve the special look and artificial wear over the long term. Furthermore, while cotton is suitable for tumble drying, air drying is gentler on the fibers and the garment's appearance.
