To keep the leather of the RFB bracers supple and prevent deformation, the following care measures are recommended: - Regular cleaning: Remove dust and dirt regularly with a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth.
- Conditioning: Regularly treat the leather with suitable care products such as leather grease or leather oil to maintain its flexibility and prevent it from drying out or cracking.
- Proper storage: Store the bracers in a well-ventilated, dry place at room temperature (approx. 18-20°C) and a relative humidity between 45% and 65%. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme dryness.
- Protection from moisture: If the bracers get wet, allow them to air dry slowly and then treat them with a leather conditioner. Avoid artificial heat sources such as radiators, as this can cause the leather to become brittle.
- Dimensional stability: Take care not to overstress the straps, and if wax-hardened leather is used, use a hairdryer to carefully correct slight discolorations caused by material tension.
