The three-star medieval flail, also known as a battle flail or war flail, evolved in the 12th century from the peasant's threshing flail into an effective polearm. This reconstruction, with its ash handle and three star-shaped carbon steel balls, is designed as an authentic collector's item or decorative object. Due to its rustic construction, it is also ideally suited as a prop for costumes in reenactment or LARP, but is expressly not suitable for staged combat.
