Medieval spearhead 52cm - EN45 steel

The spearhead is made of heat-treated EN45 carbon steel (spring steel). It is primarily intended as a collector's item, decorative object, or prop for historical settings and is expressly not designed for staged combat.

The spearhead, made of EN45 carbon steel, should be thoroughly cleaned, wiped dry, and then rubbed with a care oil such as Ballistol or camellia oil after each use. This maintenance is necessary because the steel has no natural corrosion protection and, without a protective layer of oil, will quickly rust due to moisture or perspiration, which can permanently damage the surface and the stability of the material.

The inner diameter of the socket is approximately 2.6 cm to 2.8 cm, which corresponds to a standard size for medieval spearheads of this type. It is therefore designed for a shaft with a diameter of about 25 mm to 30 mm, although the shaft should be slightly tapered at the end for a snug fit.

The medieval spearhead made of EN45 steel has a total length of approximately 52 cm and a weight of about 380 g.
