Sleipnir Horn Drinking Cup - Handmade

The handcrafted Sleipnir drinking cup is made of genuine cattle horn (buffalo horn). For hygienic reasons, the inside is sealed with a food-safe lacquer, making it suitable for enjoying beverages such as beer or mead.

The Sleipnir horn drinking cup has a capacity of approximately 150 to 250 ml, although variations may occur due to the natural material, horn. For care, the cup should be rinsed briefly before first use and cleaned with warm water and mild dish soap after each use. It is not suitable for dishwashers, acidic or hot beverages, and should be allowed to dry completely upside down after cleaning to prevent stress cracks.

The engraved Sleipnir motif symbolizes speed, strength, and Odin's insatiable thirst for knowledge, with the eight-legged horse serving as a bridge between the worlds. Since each cup is handcrafted from a single piece of natural horn, it exhibits individual growth characteristics, color variations, and shapes, making it a truly unique item.

The engraving requires different care than the rest of the surface, as it is more sensitive to mechanical stress and moisture. To ensure the longevity of the seal and the visibility of the engraving, please observe the following instructions: - Avoid rubbing engraved areas with a sponge or hard brushes, as this can cause the engraving to fade.

- Do not soak the mug in dishwater for extended periods, as this can cause the natural material to swell.

- Never clean the mug in the dishwasher.
