The versatile DuoBase holder (base) is included with the DMT DuoSharp Plus. To maintain and ensure its longevity, please observe the following instructions: - Cleaning and lubrication: The sharpening stone can be used dry or with water; however, the use of oils should be avoided.

- Break-in period: Note that the surface may initially appear very aggressive and will smooth out after the first few uses.
