Aluminum chainmail is particularly easy to care for, as it does not rust, unlike steel. Regular oiling is therefore unnecessary; cleaning with water is usually sufficient to remove dirt. To connect the 20x20 cm pieces into larger armor sections, the most effective method is to use suitable aluminum rings (e.g., 8 mm inner diameter) and a rivet gun. Since the pieces are already riveted, the connecting rings should also be riveted to ensure a uniform appearance and maximum stability of the chainmail.
